Parents with Disabilities

One important thing I would love to focus on with this section of my blog is vacationing and the accommodations. I would love to hear from you about the positive experiences you have had while vacationing. From my experience, while searching the internet, there are not enough places that focus on the great places that give consideration to people who have disabilities. I would love to hear from you.

I will also be posting about life and parenting with disabilities.

I hope you enjoy and please don’t feel shy to post. I love reading about people and their views on life.

Hey!! I am following you from friday follow. I love your blog and am looking forward to following you :) Thanks for the follow. Wow that was a lot of use of the word follow. I think this is a great idea to write about parents with disabilities. I used to be morbidly obese. i weighed 547 at my heaviest. I am now in the 200's but have a lot of leftover junk from being morbidly obese. my right knee is excruciating right now. I can't run like i should be able to because my back and legs hurt. I'm getting ready to try P90X so we'll see how well that works. :)

so that's it for physical junk but i also suffer from lots of depression and anxiety and bipolar disorder. it makes life interesting for my two babies. so i don't know if you'd consider that disabled. I certainly don't when you hold it all up to MS. MS is very debilitating...i've seen it in action.

ok i'll shut up now.

(just for good measure!) ;)

Hi! Just wanted to mention that I love this idea...posting info on vacation/accomodation from the perspective of disabled travelers. I started my blog partly for the same reasons. I use a wheelchair (paraplegic) and love to travel. It's always a different story, and usually a surprise--good or bad. My blog is fairly new and I've been focusing on other things so far, but I will be posting some of my experiences with travel for the disabled, especially here in Europe as compared to the States. I'll *try* to remember to let you know if or when I post anything like that, but you might want to stop back every so often. I know I'll be checking back here, for sure!

Nice to sorta meet you! Read you again soon!
Heather! :)
