CLOSED The Cream Perfume Company Review & Giveaway: 2 Winners

About the Cream Perfume Company

It is believed Egyptians were the first people to incorporate perfumes (primarily natural incense and ointments) into their culture around 3000bc. The methods of extracting natural scents, although primitive by comparison, were technically not much different than they are today. Perfumes were often mixtures of oil and crushed petals or herbs until the Arabs later learned to extract oils from flowers through the process of distillation.

Strolling the cobbled streets of Grasse, past cafes, the Notre Dame du Puy cathedral and the 12th-century bishop's palace, a visitor would find it hard to imagine that this medieval Provencal town has assumed the mentorship role associated with today's billion-dollar perfume industry. With soil and climate that are perfect for fields of jasmine, tuberose and hyacinth, perfume has a long and storied history in Grasse.

The wonderful people over at The Cream Perfume Company sent several sample s for me to enjoy. I have never experienced a solid perfume before & I really did not know what to expect. I used just a slight dab on my wrist & the scent lasted all day. You have to be careful because more than a dab could potentially be a little too much. Another great thing I loved about the solid perfume was that it didn’t make me sneeze as every other perfume does. The little wooden containers were cute too. The jars are made from environmentally friendly residual Canadian birch.
The body lotions were awesome & I really loved the Coconut Vanilla scented lotion. The lotions had absolutely no greasy feeling when applied & made my skin feel really smooth. The lasting scent is just another aspect I also enjoyed with this lotion. Just like the solids the scent of the lotions didn’t make me sneeze which is a huge plus in my book.
A nice quality of the lotions that I like best is that they can help combat skin that is dehydrated, sore, inflamed and damaged. With most lotions that are scented you can’t apply to skin that is inflamed. As mentioned before the lotions do not have a greasy feel to them whatsoever.
