We have a small farm and the kids are responsible for their animals, feeding and cleaning up after them - #1

As a kid I remember spending my days during the summer outside playing. I was lucky enough to live beside my grandparents who had a farm which was over 300 acres. I would roam the woods for hours at a time looking at the different plants & animals. I would often follow my grandpa around tending to the animals. I even helped give a calf a bottle a few times.

I remember the big sand box out back that was full of fun & adventure which would last hours. But my very favorite activity as a kid was my dirtbike. From the time I was 5 years old I was riding & would go all around the farm on my bike. I was also very active in swimming & gymnastics.

The point of this is that I want my children to experience the pleasure of being active & outside exploring what our world has to offer. Sometimes we need to give them a "fun" reason to want to go outside & be active. Since we live in town it's not as natural as when you live in the country (just my opinion).
When International Playthings asked me if I wanted to review the Soccer Trainer I jumped at the chance. Both boys & girls can have fun kicking the ball & at the same time participate in a physical activity. This is also perfect for younger children to give them practice using coordination. Another nice feature is that can be played alone or with another person. Playing with another kid can give the kids a chance to understand & start utilizing "teamwork". This great toy can teach children the basic fundamentals of soccer by teaching them how to pass and coordinate movement using your feet.

The base is weighted down with either water or sand. We prefer sand & also use the sand in our basketball hoop which seems to work better. This is the perfect starter for a young kid who is learning how to kick. The exercise is wonderful once they really get into it. Our kids loved it & the youngest who is 4 had problems getting used to it but is starting to get the point.
Thanks to the wonderful people over at International Playthings, one lucky winner will receive their very own Soccer Trainer.
