Closed:Tropical Traditions Oxygen Bleach Review & Giveaway

I don't know about anyone else but I love using oxygen bleach for literally everything. I can't use chlorine bleach because for some odd reason I break out in hives (red dots) if the bleach touches my skin. So oxygen bleach is a great alternative to chlorine bleach.

Thanks to the awesome people at Tropical Traditions. I had a chance to try another one of their great products.

Care must be taken in using chlorine bleach as it is toxic to humans, animals, and plants. Plus, it has a negative effect on our environment.

Tropical Traditions Oxygen Bleach is a safe and effective alternative to chlorine based products and it can be used in many applications in and around the home. It is based on sodium percarbonate which uses oxygen for destaining and deodorizing. Oxygen Bleach is safe to use at all temperatures, on most washable fabrics, and all colors, in hard or soft water, and is compatible with other household cleaners. Also, it produces no harmful by-products which negatively affect the environment. Unlike chlorine bleach, which can merely cover up a stain, Tropical Traditions Oxygen Bleach attacks and breaks down organic stains to totally remove them from the garment.

Uses and Instructions
In the laundry Oxygen Bleach is used to destain, deodorize, and whiten. It is very effective as a laundry presoak for heavily stained articles.

You can also use this to whitening old linens and yellowed window shears, deodorizing and cleaning tennis shoes, or to get rid of yellow armpit stains on shirts

Best used for stained plastic ware, dish rags & towels. I love using this for my drains & garbage disposals which keeps the bad smells out.

For septic systems add 4 ounces of Oxygen Bleach to toilet and flush into the septic system twice a week. For toilets add 3 ounces of Oxygen Bleach, wait 15 minutes then scrub.

For shower curtains you simply soak overnight to get rid of the occasional mildew stains. Can also be used to scrub out the shower or tub which makes it so much easier because it really loosens up the scum.

For deodorizing garbage, cleaning the lawn furniture or cleaning the all weather carpeting.

I never knew that this could be used to destain or deodorize carpets. To clean up your mop just add & then soak overnight then rinse.
To clean and deodorize cat litter boxes soak them in 3 ounces of Oxygen Bleach per gallon of water for 20 minutes then rinse. For urine, feces, or vomit stains on carpets or upholstery, add one teaspoon of Oxygen Bleach to 8 ounces of water, wipe onto stain, wait 10 minutes then rinse.

Wood Decks
Oxygen Bleach is excellent for cleaning and restoring wood decks. It removes organic stains from leaf stains to BBQ grease, removes mold and mildew as well as sun faded and discolored wood layers. Makes your deck look almost new!!! It doesn’t harm your plants, grass, or landscaping in any way!

To clean your deck first remove any loose soils or other matter. Dissolve 6 ounces of Oxygen Bleach Destainer and Deodorizer in a gallon of hot water (generally takes about 5 minutes). Apply to wet deck.

For railings a hand pump sprayer does a really excellent job. Wait 10-15 minutes. Scrub with a stiff broom or brush, then rinse. Oxygen Bleach is not suitable for use with silk or wool.

As you can see it has several uses & probably more once I start using it more often. Since we have 2 little boys this means accidents. It worked perfectly to deodorize bed clothing & clothing plus their was absolutely no stains after soaking & washing. Our garbage disposal had a nasty odor & I used a little and now we are nasty smell free.

Tim soaked our mop in a mixture of the bleach & hot water overnight which made our mop nice & clean. I also got stains (rust marks from my shaving cream can) out of the tub/shower that I have been trying to get out for the few months. We are also going to try the bleach on the back deck which needs a good cleaning after winter.

One lucky person will win their very own bottle of Oxygen Bleach!!!
