Review: BooksFree.com

About BooksFree.com
Booksfree is the world's largest online library, offering members over 250,000 paperback, CD, and MP3-CD audiobooks. Our members have been enjoying the highest commitment to customer service, satisfaction, and unmatched value since September 2000.

How It Works

Our Selection

The Booksfree selection not only offers the latest bestsellers, but also offers thousands of titles no longer available at your local bookstore or online retailer. Over the years we have accrued a massive inventory of paperback and audiobooks. So when you find a new author you love, you not only have access to their latest release, you also have access to their previous releases.

Finding Titles You Enjoy

Offering such a large selection can make it an overwhelming task to find titles you enjoy. That's why we have devoted endless time and resources building useful tools like personalized recommendations, an easy to use rating system, member reviews, a comprehensive browse section, and advanced search functions. Members may also build their own favorite authors list for easy access to all their titles.

Our unlimited rental model makes trying new authors and new genres simple and hassle free. If you try a book you do not like, simply return it in the pre-paid return mailer.

Free Delivery

Members enjoy free delivery both to and from their door-step. Orders are automatically generated from titles that are queued on their list so there is never a need to place additional orders when returns are received. Over 90% of new orders are shipped the same day returns are received.

This is the ultimate site for people who love books & wants the convenience of right to your door delivery. People who can't drive or does not have easy access to books could really benefit from BooksFree. This service reminds me of Netflix but for books! How great is this :)

I am an avid reader...I tend to read paperbacks because they don't hurt as much when you fall asleep reading and they hit you in the head.(truth)lol
When I find a new author I always want to read their earlier books and this seems like a great source.
Thanks for reviewing this site, I think I will be using their services.

Really interesting concept especially if we can get the really hot newly released, popular books. Just checked out the website for 2.89 you can rent a book. Sure is cheaper than the books I've recently bought. arobimom at gmail dot com

Tatum, what a fantastic service! Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I especially like that one can get titles no longer available in current catalogs. Economical, convenient, & comprehensive: what's not to like?

Sounds like Netflix for books! With the cost of books today, this is a very affordable option for people like me, who like to read a ton of books but don't necessarily want to keep them all.

I'd never heard of them before I saw your review. Thanks for sharing this.

I've been wondering when someone would do netflix for books. I know we have libraries but they never have the books I'm looking for. And online would be so convenient. I'm bookmarking it to check it out later

Thanks for sharing info about booksfree. It looks like a netflix for book. But booksfree is not the only offering this service. one of the biggest players in this domain is scribd.com and you also niche site freepdfs.net which offer free ebooks.
