Nutrisystem Review: Week 4 Progress

Ok this week went well but I had to cheat because if I didn't I would go crazy! Yes it was worth it & no I don't feel guilty because I have been doing good this whole time! Last week I said I would try to modify the exercises around my torn ACL until I can get everything fixed & here is what I came up with!

We are going to play Just Dance & the new Micheal Jackson Wii game every other night! This way we can get the whole family involved in the exercises until we can start walking again. We are also going to modify the EA Active to the level I am comfortable with! Then P90X has an upper body workout along with Ab Ripper which will go perfectly!

So starting Monday I will start with everything! I am also starting physical therapy for the torn ACL & the other degeneration going on in my knee. So I will consult the PT guy to see what I should & shouldn't do. Exercising is such an important part of losing weight & I know this may be the cause of my slow weight loss.

Height – 5'3"
Current Weight – 153lbs 8oz
Waist: 37 1/4 inches
Goal Weight – 120

First Week 2/8/2011
Lost: 3lbs 4oz
Current Weight: 150lbs 4oz
Waist: 36 1/2 inches

Second Week 2/15/11
Lost: 1lb (16oz)
Current Weight: 149lbs 4oz
Waist: 36 1/2 inches

Third Week 2/22/11
Lost: 1lb 3oz
Current Weight: 148lbs 1 oz
Waist: 36

Fourth Week 3/1/11
Lost: 1lb 1oz
Current Weight: 147lbs
Waist: 34 1/2

Sounds like you are doing well. Keep up the good work! It is a useful battle to pursue and I have heard many good things about the nutrisystem plan!

Also, losing weight slowly is not a bad idea. I think it makes it so you are better able to keep it off. I hope you heal quickly!

Maybe the Nutrisystem plan could add a 'cheat' time/food to it's plan, because life happens!

I think you are doing great, especially since exercise is tough now with your injury. I have a hurt knee too :(

By your weight posting ... I don't think your weight loss is as slow as you perceive it to be. Congratulations on already losing over 6 pounds!!! Enjoy the Wii, and get well soon.

You're not losing weight that slowly... all the research shows 1-2% per week is ideal. The first week is usually the best one, because we also lose water weight. Besides, 1 lb/week is 50+ pounds in a year!

Looks like you are doing a great job...slow and steady wins the race!
I wish I could get up the gumption to start a program and stick with it. You go girl!
