One reason I got this particular scale was to teach the kids how to weigh things! This is the perfect tool to teach about weighing with it's oversized face! The bowl is really nice because you remove it from the main scale & fill up with whatever you are weighing! The bowl is also dishwasher safe which is always a huge plus in book! I have also used this scale for more than just food such as my scented bath salts!
Another major advantage of this scale is the price! Right now as of the 1st of March the price is $27.95 which is unbeatable especially for the look & durability!
