Gooseberry Patch
Back in 1984, we were next-door neighbors raising our families in the little town of Delaware, Ohio. Two moms with small children, we were looking for a way to do what we loved and stay home with the kids too. We had always shared a love of home cooking and making memories with family & friends and so, after many a conversation over the backyard fence, Gooseberry Patch was born.

One recipe I tried is the Pepperoni Rolls! I have a recipe that I use but thought I would try this one since it varies slightly from the one I use! I did not follow the jelly roll style they suggested & made the rolls individually! Below I have included a picture!

- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 t. dried parsley
- 1/2 t. garlic salt
- 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 loaves frozen bread dough, thawed
- 16-oz. pkg sliced pepperoni
- 16-oz. pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
Garnish: Pizza Souce, warmed

In a bowl, mix eggs, seasonings & Parm cheese; set aside. Roll out first loaf into a rectangle on a floured surface. Spread half of egg mixture on top; layer with half pepperoni & sprinkle with half the mozzarella cheese. Roll up jelly-roll style; place seam-side down on an ungreased baking sheet. Repeat process for second loaf. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes until lightly golden. The bottom of the rolls will be browned. Cool & cut into 2-inch slices; serve with pizza sauce. Makes 20 to 24 servings.

One very lucky person will win their own copy of Simple Shortcut Recipes!
