Review: Oral-B ProfessionalCare 5000 #OralBSponsored

Before I received the above toothbrush I was using a brush that was battery operated. It worked ok but since I'm a person who always worries about my teeth I wondered what the difference would be from a cheaper brush to a quality brush?
I do take oral care very seriously since I work with children & other adults. I think it's normal to make sure your oral hygiene is up to par. I don't want to be the person who has bad breath especially when I work with so many different people throughout the day. With a power toothbrush I can ensure that my oral habits are up to my standards.
After reading all the information about the Oral-B ProfessionalCare 5000 I am extremely impressed & wonder why I haven't changed over sooner. I can be assured that proper oral care will be achieved with this brush. From my personal opinion the first impression is one of the most important & oral care does come in to play no matter what profession you are in (even stay at home moms).
As a parent I feel it's important to be a good example of proper hygiene which includes proper oral care. We (Tatum & I) both ensure that the kids learn how to properly brush their teeth. In my opinion it starts when they are young. If you can get them into a routine very early it's easier than starting when they are older. Our oldest we have problems with because he didn't start a routine early enough. But I am sure there are lots of kids who fight with their parents about brushing. So with the youngest we started as early as when his first tooth popped up. He is used to the brushing routine & we have absolutely no problems with getting him to brush his teeth. All of our kids have a power toothbrush which is so much better than a manual. I will never again buy a manual brush for ourselves or the kids.
Also right now Oral-B is offering a $10 mail-in rebate on select power toothbrushes April 29 through June 16, 2012. Please visit OralB.com for more information.

I believe the "power" brushes do a lot better job at cleaning BUT I seen something on TV once about how the power brushes broke and when they did they messed up people's teeth. I dont know how often that happens but I am scared that I (or my kids) would be the ones that would happen to. My oldest has always had a problem with iron build up on his teeth so the older he got the more he need to brush so we did get him a power brush, I will look into this one for him.
