Review 2: Oral-B ProfessionalCare 5000 #OralBSponsored

Oral-B ProfessionalCare SmartSeries 5000 with SmartGuide
A few weeks ago I started using the Oral-B to see exactly how it works in relation to improving my oral care! I have also posted a video to show you the ease of use with the SmartSeries! It may be intimidating at first glance but once you pull it out of the box it's a snap to assemble!

One of the important aspects I did notice using the SmartSeries was that it made you pay more attention to dental care then when using other brushes. Because the one of the focuses is on "time" (how long you brush your teeth) I was sure to brush for the perfect amount of time. The time is divided in fours for each quadrant of teeth. But again this is just one of the many features offered by this brush!

The Smart Guide is wireless so you can actually visualize the time instead of depending on other forms. This was nice to see & it can be stuck wherever it's easiest to see for you. I preferred not to stick the Smart Guide to anything & instead leave it on the counter while brushing my teeth. I also want to mention that you can set your Timer to different modes such as professional or 2 minute timer & count up or down depending on your preference.

Another really cool feature which is so helpful is the Brushing Modes which can easily be changed from your brush! The 5 modes: Daily Clean, Sensitive, Massage, Whitening & Deep Clean.

I think most people have the problem of brushing just a little too hard. I know with me I start brushing not paying attention & the next thing I know I'm brushing way too hard. I do have issues with my gums bleeding so with this I have to be very careful while brushing. This power toothbrush does alert me when excessive pressure is put on my teeth.

Because of the several different replacement head options available I decided to buy the sensitive clean because of my sensitive gums. I really loved this head because the bristles were extra soft but got the job done! Another head I bought was the Pro White which I haven't used too much but once my gums are better I will start using it more often.

I personally have noticed my gums have improved & are no longer bleeding as I brush. Like I said previously I can use the Pro White but haven't had a chance since my gums have just healed up. In my opinion a power toothbrush is worth every penny compared to a manual.

Also right now Oral-B is offering a $10 mail-in rebate on select power toothbrushes April 29 through June 16, 2012. Please visit OralB.com for more information.
