Giveaway: Fiber One 3 Winners
With the do-it-yourself (DIY)
trend on everyone’s mind, Fiber One Bars and Brownies – the official snack of Mercedes-Benz
Fashion Week – are teaming up with
Celebrity Style Expert Bobbie Thomas,
for the second year to encourage consumers to showcase their “great taste”
through the first-ever Fiber One Snackcessory Challenge. Fiber
One is inviting fashionistas and DIY-ers alike to
leverage their creativity and design their very own “Snackcessory,” a stylishly designed case or pouch that they can throw
in their handbag to hold delicious snacks, like Fiber One Bars. After all, it’s
stylish to be prepared.
“It's important for me to keep
essentials in my handbag for wherever the day may take me. Meetings often run
long, phone calls and traffic can pull you from your personal time – and many
people don’t think about throwing a snack in their bag for when hunger pangs
hit,” said Thomas. “Fiber One Bars are my go-to snack and, of course, I prefer
to stash them in a chic, secure place, which is why I'm excited to team up with
Fiber One for their Snackcessory Challenge.”

Now through September 30, 2012, consumers can visit FiberOne.com and submit a photo and 100-word description of their original Snackcessory design. Consumers who enter their design will have a chance to win great prizes:

One Grand Prize winner will be awarded a trip for two to New
York City to attend Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in February 2013

Nine contest finalists will each be awarded one $500 gift
card for a handbag of their choice
Bobbie will be joined by
distinguished DIY style and design expert, and founder of P.S.- I made this… Erica Domesek, to help select the top 10
finalists and provide Snackcessory inspiration. The finalists will be announced
in October, and Fiber One will post their designs in
an online gallery for public voting. The Grand Prize Winner will be announced in November 2012.
Fiber One at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week:
For the second year in a row, Fiber One Bars and Brownies are the Official
Snack of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. This year, Fiber One will debut product
samples in unique, fashion-forward designer bar wrappers that are exclusive to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. The brand
will have a booth in the grand Lobby September 6-11.
“We’re excited to be a part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week again
this year,” said Doug Martin, marketing manager for Fiber One. “For many women,
fashion is synonymous with handbags, and Fiber One Bars are the perfect
tasteful accessory to keep inside your handbag. It can be hard to resist
