Giveaway: Wicked Good Gortons Seafood

With the school year upon us we become a family that's constantly on the move! I am constantly looking for recipes that are not only quick but nutritionally sound. Gorton's Seafood has exactly what we are looking for! Our kids eat Gorton's without a fight plus they enjoy their products.

I know this company must be doing something right because each store we visited was extremely low or out of what I would consider kid friendly foods.

Fish and seafood – like shrimp, tilapia, and salmon – not only taste good, but are a natural source of lean protein and critical nutrients like vitamins and minerals including iron, zinc, and vitamins A, B and D. But what really sets seafood apart from other healthy foods is that it is a natural source of two healthy omega-3 fatty acids, docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). Research shows these omega-3 fatty acids promote good health and may reduce your risk of chronic disease. Since our bodies cannot make omega-3 fatty acids, it’s important to regularly include them in our diets.
One thing I have noticed is that I have to give my kids ketchup or they are not having any part of eating fish sticks. I always try to be inventive when introducing my kids to new foods. The kids will also now eat Shrimp as long as it's breaded with one loving cocktail sauce.

One of our favorites is the Simply Baked products!

Studies show that a diet containing omega-3 may:
  • Promote heart health
  • Decrease blood pressure, triglycerides, and cholesterol levels
  • Improve arthritis and joint pain
  • Lessen symptoms of depression and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Support eye health
  • Enhance brain growth and development
  • Aid brain growth in unborn babies, infants and kids
  • Decrease the risk for certain cancers
  • Reduce the symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease
One of my favorite products that are kid approved are the Crispy Beer Battered Fish & Crunchy Breaded Fish Fillets. They sell these products in big bags which is awesome for us so you don't run out quickly. Each product has their own unique very yummy taste! They also make these in tenders!

Make sure you visit the Wicked Good Seafood Sweepstakes to win a Wicked Good Trip to Boston, MA for 4 people including airfare, lodging, activities & spending money.

You can also visit Gorton's to download coupons, recipes & explore products!

One lucky person will win 3 $2 off coupons, 1 Gorton's branded ship wheel keychain, an assortment of Gorton's postcards & recipe cards. a Rafflecopter giveaway
